Job Title: Chef

About the Role

• We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team at a reputable restaurant in Ibadan.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing Chinese cuisine, continental dishes, Nigeria delicacies with a strong focus on quality, presentation, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare variety of Chinese dishes (e.g., stir-fry, dim sum, fried rice, noodles, soups), Nigeria delicacies and Continental dishes.
• Ensure all meals are prepared to the highest standard of taste and presentation.
• Manage kitchen inventory, ingredients, and food preparation processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Innovate and introduce new Chinese recipes to refresh the menu.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 3 – 5 proven years experience as a Chef.
• Deep knowledge of Chinese dishes, Nigerian delicacies cooking techniques and traditional recipes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Culinary school certification is an added advantage.
