We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Checker

Location: Kogi

Key Responsibilities

• Verify products before they leave the warehouse or distribution point.
• Check product quantities against invoices, loading sheets, and dispatch documents.
• Ensure the correct products are loaded for each customer or sales representative.
• Identify shortages, excesses, damaged products, or discrepancies.
• Confirm that loaded products correspond with approved documentation.
• Report discrepancies immediately to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assist with stock counting and physical verification.
• Monitor loading and unloading activities where assigned.
• Ensure proper handling of products during dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of checked and dispatched goods.
• Support periodic stock-taking exercises.
• Ensure that no unauthorized product leaves the warehouse.
• Follow company procedures relating to stock accountability and warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND or B.Sc.
• Previous experience as a Checker, Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role is an advantage.
• FMCG/distribution experience is preferred.
• Good numerical and observational skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain accountability.
• Must be reliable and physically capable of performing assigned duties.
