Role Description

• The Channel Manager will be responsible for the strategic growth, programming, audience development, commercial performance, and day-to-day management of HipTV across broadcast and digital platforms.
• The successful candidate will ensure that HipTV maintains its position as a leading youth-focused entertainment network by developing compelling programming strategies, maximizing audience engagement, increasing advertising revenue, and driving content innovation.
• The role requires close collaboration with production, sales, digital, marketing, and programming teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the channel’s programming strategy.
• Manage daily broadcast schedules and programming.
• Grow television ratings and digital audience engagement.
• Work with advertisers, sponsors, and channel partners.
• Oversee acquisition, commissioning, and scheduling of content.
• Monitor audience trends and market research.
• Collaborate with sales teams to maximize commercial opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with broadcasting regulations.
• Manage channel budgets and operational performance.
• Lead programming, continuity, and presentation teams.
• Develop innovative content initiatives to strengthen the HipTV brand.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline.
• 5+ years experience in television, broadcasting, or digital media.
• Strong understanding of programming strategy.
• Experience in audience analytics and ratings.
• Knowledge of television operations and broadcast workflows.
• Excellent leadership and project coordination skills.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Outstanding communication and relationship management abilities.
