We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: CCR Engineer

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and proactive CCR Engineer to oversee the operation of our beneficiation plant from the Central Control Room. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant performance, contributing to production targets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control plant operations using DCS/SCADA systems.
  • Adjust process parameters to optimize throughput and product quality.
  • Coordinate with field operators during start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, faults, and deviations in process conditions.
  • Maintain accurate shift logs and production reports.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and instrumentation teams during breakdowns.
  • Support troubleshooting and initiate corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and ISO standards.
  • Train and mentor newly hired CCR operators.
  • Escalate major disruptions to supervisors and management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc. or HND in Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in control room operations within a beneficiation or cement plant.
  • Proficiency in DCS/SCADA/HMI platforms.
  • Strong understanding of crushing, grinding, classification, flotation, and filtration processes.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in rotating shifts.
