Job Title: Cashier (Pharmacy)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Description

• The Pharmacy Cashier is responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
• The role involves handling cash and electronic payments, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate transaction records, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Process cash, card, transfer, and other payment transactions accurately while issuing receipts to customers.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Assist customers with inquiries, direct them appropriately, and provide courteous and professional service at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales, report discrepancies promptly, and support routine financial reconciliations.
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies while supporting other front desk and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field from a recognized institution.
• 1–2 years of experience as a cashier, preferably in a pharmacy, healthcare, or hospital environment.
• Proficiency in Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, cash handling, and basic computer applications.
• Strong numerical, communication, and customer service skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Honest, reliable, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must reside in or close to Ikeja, No accommodation is provided.

Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 monthly.
