Job Summary

• Aniso Specialist Medical Centre is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to handle daily transactions, maintain accurate financial records and support smooth billing operations.
• The ideal candidate must be computer-literate and able to follow instructions and prompts accurately.

Key Responsibilties

• Handle cash, POS and transfer payments for patients and issue receipts promptly.
• Record all transactions accurately in the hospital’s billing/accounting software.
• Reconcile daily collections and prepare end-of-day summaries.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure accountability of funds.
• Assist in billing processes and collaborate with front desk and records staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital financial policies and procedures.
• Report discrepancies or irregularities immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintain a professional attitude and provide courteous service to all patients.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND or HND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience as a cashier or accounts clerk is an added advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• High computer literacy – ability to use billing software, Microsoft excel and POS systems efficiently.
• Ability to follow instructions and on-screen prompts carefully.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail, honesty and integrity.
• Must live in Benin-city.
