Job Title: Cash Operations Officer

Job Summary

• The Cash Operations Officer is responsible for managing and monitoring cash-related transactions and ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant cash operations within the branch.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cash receipts, payments, transfers, and daily cash operations.
• Monitor branch cash levels and ensure adequate cash availability.
• Verify and process cash transactions in line with approved procedures.
• Reconcile cash balances and investigate discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling, KYC, AML, fraud prevention, and internal control requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all cash transactions.
• Monitor cash movements and coordinate cash transfers in line with established procedures.
• Identify and report suspicious or irregular transactions.
• Support branch operations and provide timely assistance on cash-related enquiries.

Requirements

• HND/Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit/Second Class Lower.
• Experience in cash operations, banking operations, teller services, or a related role is an advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, reconciliation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and adhere to strict operational controls.
• NYSC completion/exemption certificate, compulsory
• Age limit is 29 years or below
• Proximity to job location

Salary and Benefits

• N200,000 / Month
• HMO, 13th Month and Leave allowance
