We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cake Baker

Location: Ajao, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Bake cakes and desserts using standard and custom recipes
• Create custom designs for birthdays, weddings, events, and special orders
• Oversee daily confectionery production and ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery
• Develop creative cake designs and seasonal dessert offerings
• Supervise, train, and guide confectionery staff
• Manage inventory, cost control, and minimize waste
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through product quality and presentation.

Education & Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE (professional baking / decorating training is an advantage) with 2 years experience.
• Proven experience in cake baking and decoration (portfolio required)
• Strong buttercream and fondant skills
• Creative, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak periods.
