Job Title: Business Manager

Location: Oregun, Lagos

Job Description

• The Business Manager would be responsible for overseeing the farm plantation’s operations, improving efficiency, and ensuring the organization meets its financial and strategic goals.
• Responsible for interpreting and implementing strategic at the farm as business plan.
• Manage the entire farm team to carryout daily activities
• Develop and nurture the operations of the farm to help achieve business objectives
• Develop initiatives and search for viable opportunities for business growth
• Participate in the development and implement the budget for assigned to the farm location
• Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions, market share and trends and prepare periodic reports on achievements on the farm.

Operations:

• To implement, maintain and ensure adherence to Operations Standards, Company Policies and Procedures and initiatives.
• To deliver excellent work through well trained and highly motivated teams.
• Ensure that thorough evaluation on the farm plants are being nurtured appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure that daily operations of staff duties is carried out accurately.
• Management of farm staff: attendance, duties and other activities are done appropriately.
• To propose and prepare a performance schedule plan to meet business plan objectives of the farm.
• General operations and maintenance of the farm and business activities
• Ensure relevant checks and balances are in place and all staff KPI’s are in-order.
• To pro-actively manage operational costs on a day-to-day basis through effective management of controllable costs, third party contractors and team members.
• Accountability for the whole employee life cycle of all employees. This includes managing the; performance of all employees by cultivating a team spirit, effective coaching and performance management.
• Overall responsibility over the safety of employees and guests by complying with company standards, Health and Safety and Environment legislation and meeting all other statutory requirements.
• To manage and operate security systems and processes to prevent loss and to ensure the security of cash, assets, and employees at all times

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Marketing and Masters’ Degree in also related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience with at Least 5 Years in Management Level.
