Job Description

• Business Manager to oversee the clinic’s day-to-day business operations and drive sustainable growth.
• The successful candidate will work closely with management and clinical teams to improve operational efficiency, increase revenue, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure an excellent patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day business, administrative, and operational activities of the clinic.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, profitability, patient volume, and overall business performance.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with HMOs, corporate organizations, schools, hospitals, government agencies, and community groups.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and healthcare stakeholders.
• Monitor the performance of business development, HMO, marketing, customer service, and administrative activities.
• Develop strategies to increase patient acquisition, referrals, repeat visits, and corporate healthcare accounts.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, operational costs, and other key business performance indicators.
• Work closely with the finance team to support budgeting, cost control, and financial efficiency.
• Coordinate with dentists, optometrists, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Develop and support marketing, promotional, corporate screening, and community outreach initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities and recommend strategies to maintain the clinic’s competitive advantage.
• Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Prepare regular business and performance reports for management.
• Support the development and implementation of business policies and operational procedures.
• Represent SmartBay Eye & Dental Clinic during partnership meetings, networking events, corporate engagements, and other business activities.
• Ensure business activities align with relevant healthcare regulations and the clinic’s policies and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years experience in Business Management, Healthcare Operations, Business Development, or a related role.
• Experience in a hospital, dental clinic, eye clinic, HMO, or healthcare organization is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of business operations, revenue generation, customer relationship management, and performance management.
• Proven ability to develop partnerships and drive business growth.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM/business management tools.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, work independently, and deliver measurable results.
• Strong commercial awareness and a target-driven mindset.
