We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Pharmacist

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Pharmacist to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving business growth through strategic planning, relationship building, and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market dynamics to identify business opportunities and customer demands.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and health care sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, distributors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create pitches tailored to healthcare professionals and institutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop advertising and promotional materials.
  • Provide internal teams with up-to-date product knowledge and train internal staff and sales and marketing staff.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Stay updated with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or a related field;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in pharmaceutical space
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving business targets and driving growth.
  • Strong hospital and demand-generation/hospital promotion experience.
  • Strong intellectual, analytical and communication skills.
