We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Locations: Abuja, Bauchi, Kaduna, Kano, Niger and Sokoto
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • As a Business Development Officer, your responsibilities will include securing new property sales, lease, and management briefs, developing strategies for client satisfaction, and maintaining a robust client and tenant database.
  • This role demands excellent communication skills, a strong sales background, and a deep understanding of the Lagos real estate market.

Business Growth and Development:

  • Secure new property sales and lease briefs for the business.
  • Secure new property and facility management briefs.
  • Acquire new Valuation & Advisory and Research briefs for the company.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client complaints, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Manage and build a comprehensive client and tenant database.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Communications team to develop and disseminate marketing collaterals to prospects and clients.

Revenue and Performance Management:

  • Handle service charge and rent recovery processes efficiently.
  • Prepare and present regular client reports to ensure transparency and satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • A First Degree in any discipline.
  • 6–8 years of experience in real estate business development and client relations (preferably in a real estate firm).
  • Very strong salesperson
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Looks professional and presentable.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate market and industry
  • Sociable and professional
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office tools
  • Knowledge of Lagos real estate market
  • CRM knowledge and experience

Required Skills & Competencies:
Technical

  • Strong understanding of the Lagos real estate market.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM systems.

Behavioral:

  • Professional appearance and sociable demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills.

Strategic:

  • Exceptional sales and business development skills.
  • Ability to create and implement effective client management strategies.
