Position Summary

• We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand our market presence.
• The role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, developing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve revenue and performance targets.
• The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across target markets.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Develop and execute strategic business development and sales plans.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, pitches, and presentations.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align business strategies.
• Track, analyze, and report business development performance metrics.
• Stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging markets.
• Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and business analytics.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in managing B2B and B2C accounts.
• Knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce strategies.
• Fluency in multiple languages.

Work Environment:

• Office-based with frequent client meetings and business travel.
• Flexible working hours depending on client and market demands.

Salary
N150,000 – N250,000 per month.
