Sherrygold Freighting Company is a clearing and freight forwarding company in NIGERIA priding itself on offering an unparalled service to its customers in this most demanding and ever changing industry of freighting logistics.

Since June 10 , 1996 the company has been operating in the logistics business (Air freight and Sea freight ) licensed by the federal government of Nigeria through the Nigeria customs service to operate and deliver port services at all Seaport and Airport in Nigeria. We take on this challenge knowing we can deliver on all counts and thank our ever expanding customer base in this challenging industry.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Business Developer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the organization, driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring that strategic objectives are achieved.
  • The role involves developing business plans, monitoring performance, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Manage operational activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and business partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field (LLB an advantage)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 0 years (work experience is advantage)

Other Requirements

  • Not above 30 years (females)
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Adaptability and ability to manage change effectively
  • Must be very intelligent and fast learner.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial management and budgeting knowledge.
  • Business development and negotiation skills.
