Job Title: Breeder Farm Supervisor

Job Description

• We are looking for a qualified and experienced breeder Farm Supervisor who will be resident on the Farm which is along Ijebu Ode road.
• The Farm Supervisor will report to the Farm manager and be responsible for the overall care, bio-security, and husbandry of the facilities and poultry.
• This position will ensure that all programs and procedures are followed and implemented as described by company guidelines.
• These are to be followed by all who enter the facilities at all times. In so doing, maintaining a high degree of quality, while running an efficient and cost-effective operation.

Job Responsibilities

• Proactively Management of the pen houses and the Birds
• Ensures the safety and efficiency of poultry farm operations.
• Drawing out Vaccination Programs for Birds and disease prevention measures
• Keeping stock of feeds,preparing attendance, and coordinating activities of farm attendants by ensuring discipline
• Ensuring strict compliance with Biosecurity on the farm
• Record keeping of feeds, the Mortality rate of birds, and the number of eggs produced on a daily basis and sending the report on a daily basis to the Management through the Liason officer
• Observing the birds, and ensuring timely reports of any case of diseases or infections
• Ensuring that standard best practices and strict hygienic activities are adhered to on the farm including Monitoring and maintaining proper temperature, Ventilation, and lighting condition
• Directing and supervising the attendants on what quantity of feed to serve, cleaning of the pen houses, and general well-being of both the staff, birds, and equipment.
• And handle any other duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Agric) with at least 3 years experience.
