TAAS College, Ibadan is a Co-educational institution established in the Islamic tradition at KM 15, Abeokuta Road, Amunigun Village, Bode Igbo, Ibadan. The Nursery and primary school was upgraded to a secondary school by the governing council as a result of a remarkable acceptance by the Muslim Community and within a short period of existence. Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly qualified, innovative, and forward-thinking Biology/Agricultural Science Teacher to join our academic team.
• The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, skilled in modern pedagogy, and capable of integrating Artificial Intelligence, digital tools, and 24th-century teaching approaches into classroom instruction to enhance student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Biology and/or Agricultural Science effectively at the secondary school level.
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with national curriculum standards and future-focused education models.
• Integrate AI-powered tools, digital platforms, simulations, and data-driven teaching methods into lesson delivery.
• Foster critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry among students.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations (WAEC, NECO, etc.).
• Maintain accurate academic records, lesson notes, and continuous assessment reports.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, trainings, workshops, and school programs.
• Support innovation in teaching, learning, and school-wide academic development.
• Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting discipline, ethics, and lifelong learning.

Professional Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Agricultural Science, Education, or a related field (B.Sc / B.Ed).
• A Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is an added advantage.
• Valid TRCN certification is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of modern teaching methodologies and curriculum delivery.
• Proficiency in the use of ICT tools, virtual learning environments, AI-assisted teaching platforms, and educational software.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 – 8 years teaching experience in a reputable secondary school.
• Proven experience in preparing students for external examinations with good results.
• Demonstrated ability to adopt innovative and technology-driven teaching practices.

Other Requirements:

• Must be based in Ibadan or willing to relocate close to the school.
• Passion for continuous professional development and future-ready education.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-evolving, innovation-driven school environment.

Salary
N70,000 – N80,000 Monthly.
