Job Title: Bids Engineer (Proposal Engineer / Cost Estimator)

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Bids Engineer to join our Commercial team.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in proposal preparation, cost estimation, and tender management within the EPC, Oil & Gas, or Construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for EPC projects.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and pricing models.
• Review tender documents and identify project requirements.
• Coordinate bid submissions across Engineering, Procurement, Projects, HR, Finance, and Commercial teams.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Participate in bid clarification meetings and client negotiations.
• Ensure timely and compliant tender submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Proposal Engineer, Cost Estimator, or Bids Engineer.
• EPC, Oil & Gas, or Construction experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of estimating software and tendering processes.
• Excellent analytical and commercial skills.
