Job Title: Barista / Cafe Attendant

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Work Schedule: Alternative days / Shift Based

About the Role

• The Barista / Café Attendant will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and maintaining smooth operations of the café within Cr8tive Workspace.
• This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing stock, and ensuring the café area remains welcoming, clean, and professional for members and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, smoothies, other beverages and quick snacks to members and guests.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service at all times.
• Manage daily café operations, including setup, restocking, and closing duties.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the café area, equipment, and utensils.
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Handle payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Support workspace events with beverage service when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a barista or in a café/food service role.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, drink preparation, and food safety standards.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and presentation.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• Must live around Surulere and be available to work flexible hours, including weekends.
