Job Title: Bank Officer

Job Summary

• Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bank Officer to join their finance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, with several years of relevant experience in accounting and banking operations.
• The candidate must have a good understanding of financial transactions, bank reconciliations, cash management, and general accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily banking transactions and financial activities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate bank and financial records.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor cash inflows, outflows, and account balances.
• Process payments, transfers, deposits, and other banking transactions.
• Liaise with banks on account-related issues and transactions.
• Prepare financial and banking reports for management review.
• Ensure proper documentation and authorization of all financial transactions.
• Support the accounts team with financial reporting and other accounting duties.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and relevant banking regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or banking operations.
• Strong accounting background with proven experience in bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of banking operations, financial transactions, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Candidates with experience in both accounting and banking operations will be highly preferred.

Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 per month.
