We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Backend Engineer (Senior)

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Looking for PHP Developer or expert, who want to make a career engaging in challenging projects on futuristic technology.
• The Senior PHP Developer participates as technical expert in development, coding, testing, and/or debugging of major new software and/or significant enhancements to existing software which may include applications over multiple platforms.
• Guides and advises junior staff. Manages complex projects independently and assists in estimating and planning for future development work.
• Performs complex system integration tasks.

Required Qualification

• 4+ Years experience in PHP
• 3+ Years experience with Laravel
• Good knowledge of SQL or MongoDB
• Able to design a database schema from business requirements
• Unit Testing with PHP Unit is a plus, some projects will require it
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent problem-solving skills

It Would Be Nice If You Had The Following:
Experienced with:

• Zend and / or Laravel framework
• AWS/Digital Ocean
• Linux administration
• RESTful APIs
• CI/CD pipelines
• Docker.
