Job Description

• Oversee maintenance and repair activities for Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) and light vehicles at our CSD Plant. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical knowledge, experience in troubleshooting, and the ability to lead a small team of mechanics to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide mechanics and technicians for repair and maintenance of HEMM and light vehicles.
• Plan and monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems of HEMM (e.g., dumpers, excavators, dozers, loaders).
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for timely supply.
• Support operational efficiency and minimize equipment downtime.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years in maintenance of HEMM or automotive equipment, with exposure to team supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance planning ability.
• Good leadership and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Basic computer proficiency for maintenance reporting.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
