Job Title: Automobile Mechanic (Light Vehicle)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automobile Mechanic (Light Vehicle) with a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing light vehicles.
• The ideal candidate must be technically sound, safety-conscious, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in light vehicles.
• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
• Repair and replace faulty engine parts, brakes, suspension, steering, and transmission systems.
• Inspect vehicles to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop procedures.
• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and well-maintained.

Requirements & Qualifications

• National Diploma (ND) or equivalent technical qualification in Automobile Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience as an automobile mechanic (light vehicles).
• Strong knowledge of petrol and diesel light vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose faults accurately and repair efficiently.
• Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills (Added Advantage):

• Basic auto-electrical knowledge.
• Experience working with multiple vehicle brands.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
