Job Title: Auto Technician

Location: Oshodi-Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Carry out of vehicle service and repair as per specified in the service checklist and vehicle repair order.
• Ensuring all service and repair are performed thoroughly and in accordance to good quality practice and procedure adhering Company’s standard.
• Practice of genuine replacement of parts and service rendered according to the checklist and scope of works.
• Diagnosis and identification of technical faults and determining the correct measure to take.
• Identification of the spare parts required for any given job.
• Ensuring the work assigned is carried out professionally and that the vehicles are clean and presentable prior to release from the workshop.
• Maintaining standard FRT on works.
• Ensuring compliance with safety systems and procedures.

Educational Qualifications Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience as an auto technician or in a similar role, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
• Sound knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and mechanical components.
• Ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
• Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., trade test, automotive service excellence) will be an added advantage.
