Job Summary

• We are currently seeking a skilled Auto Painter to join our team and contribute to our mission.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean, sand, and prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, ensuring all surfaces are smooth and free of imperfections.
• Apply paint from start to finish using spray guns or other painting equipment, ensuring even coverage and a flawless finish.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired shade, ensuring a perfect match with the original vehicle color.
• Apply primers to vehicle surfaces, ensuring even coverage and proper adhesion.
• Inspecting of defects and ensuring a smooth finish.
• Apply clear coats, polish, wax and buff painted surfaces to achieve a high-gloss finish.
• Perform touch-ups and minor paint repairs as needed.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all painted surfaces meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain painting equipment and work area, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning of tools.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper handling and disposal of paint and chemicals.

Who we are looking for

• 5 years+ experience as an Auto Painter or similar role.
• Relevant certifications or training in auto painting (preferred).
• Ability to prepare a vehicle for painting.
• Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques and materials.
• Proficiency in using painting equipment, spray booths including spray guns and polishers.
• Ability to match paint colors.
• Good understanding of body work quality standards.
• Ability to spray accurately and competently.
• Excellent color vision and attention to detail.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
