We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Auto Mechanic

Location: Ode Remo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities 
Vehicle Inspection and Diagnosis:

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools to scan for error codes and pinpoint problems in engine, electrical, and other systems.
• Listen to customer concerns and assess vehicle performance.

Repair and Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotations, and battery checks.
• Replace worn components such as brake pads, spark plugs, filters, and belts.
• Repair engine components, transmission issues, suspension systems, and electrical systems.
• Adjust alignments and perform other necessary adjustments.

Customer Interaction:

• Explain repair needs clearly to customers, providing cost estimates and outlining potential repair options.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle status updates and any additional repairs required.

Technical Skills:

• Utilize repair manuals and technical specifications to follow proper repair procedures.
• Understand the function of various automotive systems including engine, brakes, steering, and electrical components.
• Stay updated on new technologies and repair techniques.

Administrative Tasks:

• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and customer information.
• Order necessary parts and supplies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and proper waste disposal procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive systems
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and interpret error codes
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills to explain technical issues to customers
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Valid automotive technician license (if required by state).

Salary
N150,000 – N170,000 Monthly.
