Job Overview

• We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Audit Officer to join our Internal Audit team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for executing internal audit functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and reinforcing internal control systems across our operations.
• The Company requires the services of the Audit officer at the Head Office, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Job Description

• Ensure that transactions are in line with the company’s policy.
• Execute audit field works in company depots.
• Conduct monthly stock taking exercise at the Head Office and depots
• Undertake accuracy and procedural control on monthly payroll.
• Undertake credit control monitoring in the company.
• Vet company purchases and supplies.
• Undertake regular audit of company operations as scheduled.
• Ensure sound internal audit control.
• Prepare audit reports in line with internal requirements

Qualification & Required Skills  

• A relevant First Degree (BSc / HND) in Accounting with a minimum of second-class lower division/lower credit.
• At least three (3) years post qualification experience in a similar position.
• Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria will be an added advantage.
• Not more than 35 years of age.
• Must have the ability to pay attention to details.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be pro-active and versatile.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Applicants must be resident in Ibadan.
