Job Title: Associate

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• To provide high quality legal services to Clients
• To develop and maintain good client relationship skills, gaining clients confidence and that of other professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Company Secretarial services including arranging Board/AGM meetings, minute taking, maintenance of statutory registers and other company records
• Drafting and reviewing a wide variety of high-level legal agreements, opinions and transaction documents
• Researching all legal matters to ensure accuracy of advice and procedure and also aid decision making
• Advising clients on regulatory compliance, corporate governance and providing transaction advisory.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

• LL.B, BL
• 3 – 7 years

Skills Expectation:

• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Strong commercial awareness skill
• Strong time management skills
• Ability and desire to meet any challenge posed by a demanding legal practice
• Excellent communication skills i.e. both verbal and written.
