We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Assistant Procurement Manager

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Job Type: Contract (Six months fixed term)

Job Purpose

• Manage and support procurement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and efficient supplier relationships while optimizing organizational spending.

Responsiblities

• Ensure the adequacy of bid specifications and preparation of sourcing-related documents.
• Process ERP transactions and monitor contract execution, including termination, renewal, or amendment of terms.
• Identify and close procurement bypasses to increase procurement involvement in spending.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and ensure optimal value for spending under management.
• Support business partnering for assigned units and ensure timely delivery on agreed SLAs.
• Track and report key procurement metrics in alignment with departmental objectives.
• Assist the Procurement Manager in building and maintaining strategic supplier relationships.
• Address supplier performance issues and escalate critical concerns as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock outs and overstocking.

Qualifications / Experience

• B.Sc. or HND in Business Admin/Management or other related fields.
• Minimum of two year’s experience in a similar role.
