We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Assistant Grants Manager – Volunteer

Location: Nigeria (Remote)
Employment Type: Volunteer (Part Time)

Summary

  • Are you passionate about supporting impactful programs through effective grant management? Do you have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a drive to support mission-driven work? We are hiring an Assistant Grants Manager to join our team!

About the Role

  • As the Assistant Grants Manager, you will support the grants administration process from pre-award to post-award.
  • You will work closely with program teams, finance, and external partners to ensure compliance with funder requirements, timely reporting, and accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of grant proposals and reports
  • Maintain accurate and organized grant records and documentation
  • Track grant deadlines, deliverables, and compliance requirements
  • Support the budgeting and financial tracking of grant-funded projects
  • Liaise with program staff to monitor grant activities and expenditures
  • Assist in coordinating audits and donor evaluations
  • Stay up to date with donor regulations and guidelines

Requirements

  • A Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in grants management or administration
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with grants databases is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
