Job Summary

• We are seeking an exceptional, commercially astute, and visionary leader to serve as our Assistant General Manager – APA Operations.

The Role

• Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will provide strategic leadership for the Company’s APA business, driving sustainable growth, Retirement Savings Account (RSA) acquisition, retail and institutional market expansion, strategic partnerships, operational excellence, customer experience, regulatory compliance, and overall business performance.
• You will also be responsible for growing the Company’s balance sheet, strengthening its brand, fostering innovation, and positioning NAPAL as a leading Accredited Pension Agent in Nigeria.

Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related discipline (MBA or Master’s degree is highly desirable).
• A minimum of 8 years’ progressive experience in pensions, financial services, banking, insurance, fintech, or a related industry, with at least 4 years in a senior executive leadership role.
• A proven track record of driving business growth, strategic partnerships, retail expansion, operational excellence, and profitability.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in business development, corporate governance, customer experience, stakeholder management, and regulatory compliance.
• A visionary, entrepreneurial leader with the ability to build high-performing teams, drive innovation, and deliver sustainable business results.
• Good knowledge of the Nigerian pension industry and PenCom regulatory framework will be a distinct advantage.
