We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Asset Maintenance Coordinator

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

• Marconi EPC is seeking a highly skilled Asset Maintenance Coordinator to plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance activities across our fleet and operational assets.
• This role ensures equipment reliability, reduced downtime, and compliance with OEM and safety standards, supporting seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance Planning & Execution
  • Develop preventive, predictive & corrective maintenance schedules
  • Ensure OEM-compliant parts/material codes maintenance and proper use of correct
  • Coordinate maintenance with operations to minimize downtime
  • Track planned maintenance, third-party certification, and intervention requirements
• Asset Reliability & Performance
  • Monitor asset performance and identify improvements
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures
  • Apply reliability engineering practices to extend asset life
• Technical Support & Field Troubleshooting
  • Provide expert diagnostic support for complex breakdowns
  • Guide technicians and support repair teams as needed
• Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and PPE usage
  • Conduct safety inspections and promote regulatory compliance
• Budget & Cost Optimization
  • Support maintenance budgeting and cost tracking
  • Optimize maintenance resources and spare part utilization
• Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare monthly equipment timesheets for project approvals
  • Submit asset performance, downtime, and maintenance reports
  • Coordinate equipment mobilization/demobilization schedules

Qualifications

• B.Sc Degree / HND qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance Engineering or related field
• 3 – 5 years experience in asset maintenance coordination within EPC, Oil & Gas, Construction, or Industrial operations
• COREN/NSE membership (added advantage)
• Certifications in CMMS, CMRP, Reliability/Asset Management are desirable
• Proficiency with CMMS/Maintenance Management Systems
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment, generators, lifting equipment, industrial machinery.
