Job Title: Asset & Liability Manager (ALM)

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• Our client in the financial services industry is seeking a strategic Asset & Liability Manager (ALM) to manage the firm’s balance sheet, liquidity, and funding strategies, mitigate risks, and support trading operations to enhance profitability.

Responsibilities 

• Develop and execute ALM strategies aligned with trading and investment goals
• Monitor and optimize liquidity, interest rate risk, and funding requirements
• Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and treasury teams on cash flows and funding structures
• Ensure compliance with local and international ALM, liquidity, and capital adequacy regulations.
• Provide risk and performance analysis to support profitable trading decisions.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7-10 years experience in ALM, Treasury, or Balance Sheet Management
• Strong background in trading desk operations, liquidity, and risk management
• Proven track record of executing complex ALM strategies.
• ICAN or other professional certification (advantageous).
