Job Title: Area Sales Manager, East

Location: South East Region, Nigeria

Job Summary

• We are an FMCG group located in Ipaja, Lagos, currently in need of an Area Sales Manager (ASM) to cover the South East. He/She must reside in Onitsha.
• The preferred candidate should have had a similar experience in the food or beverage industry with at least 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
• He/She must be familiar with the business trends in the Region.

Job Description
Includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Responsible for the coordination of all sales activities and the achievement of sales growth in all sales territories
• Oversee the activities, coach, and monitor the performance of sales representatives
• Achieve sales targets and give feedback on sales trends by conducting market research and analysis to evaluate trends
• Devise and present ideas and strategies to promote sales of the company’s products
• Promotional activities through trade shows, event marketing, and activation
• Prepare a route plan and ensure the marketing team adheres to it strictly
• Coordinating the sales team to generate leads
• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering and understanding their needs.
• Present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
