Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa was established by the Ondo State Government in 2008. The University was initially named as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa. The Ondo State Government changed the name of the University to Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) in December, 2019. The University is a technology-based institution which aims at providing the needed manpower training in order to address the critical areas of industrial and technological development of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole.

The Vision of the University is to be a leading internationally recognized institution raising a corpus of technologically competent individuals able to respond to the needs of their environment in a technologically driven economy. The rapidly growing University currently runs academic programmes in three Schools. These are School of Science, School of Engineering and Engineering Technology and School of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. Job Summary

• The successful candidate will be responsible for designing planning, and overseeing the construction of buildings and other infrastructure projects within the university.

Responsibilities
Specifically, the candidate will be expected to:

• Design and develop architectural plans and specifications.
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine project requirements.
• Oversee construction projects to ensure compliance with designs and regulations,
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, engineers, and other Professional

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidate must possess a good Honours degree or equivalent in Architecture, registerable with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), or any other relevant professional bodies.
• The candidate must possess a minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience or a Master’s degree in Architecture with two (2) years of experience and must be computer literate.
