Job Title: Animation with AI Instructor

Location: Port Harcourt (Physical), Rivers (Remote)

Job Description

• We are seeking passionate and creative instructors to teach Animation and Introductory AI to children and teenagers aged 5–17.
• The successful candidates will facilitate engaging learning experiences for students in the field of Animation and Introductory AI, combining theoretical knowledge with practical application.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in 2D/3D animation and basic AI concepts using beginner-friendly tools
• Guide students in creating exciting projects, from animated short stories to simple AI models
• Facilitate hands-on learning and encourage creativity and innovation
• Participate in instructor training and planning sessions
• Provide mentorship and support to students throughout the training sessions

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in animation tools (e.g., Scratch, Blender, Toontastic, or similar)
• Basic knowledge of AI concepts in the area of animation (e.g., computer vision, chatbot creation)
• Experience working with children or teenagers in a teaching or mentoring role
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Reliable internet connection (if applying for a remote role)

Preferred:

• Prior experience teaching in STEM
• Background in Computer Science, Animation, Digital Arts, or related fields.
