The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) is one of the eleven electricity distribution companies that emerged after the unbundling of the defunct Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN).The company is saddled with the primary responsibility of distributing and marketing electricity to end users within the five states in the South-East geo-political zone; namely: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo, with a total of 18 Business Districts offices across these states.

Job Description

• EEDC in its ICT function has 2 positions open for “Android Developer (Flutter)”, responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android applications and their integration with back-end services.

Candidate’s Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or similar
• 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Flutter developer
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• An understanding and exposure to Team Foundation Server, BitBucket, JIRA
• Analytical & collaboration orientation to solve business problems
• Experience in requirements capture, analysis techniques and process improvements
