Job Summary

• We are seeking a knowledgeable and results-driven Agronomist to serve as Farm Manager, responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all agricultural activities on our farm. The ideal candidate will combine agronomic expertise with hands-on farm management experience to drive productivity, ensure sustainable practices, and achieve high-quality crop yields.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement crop production plans based on soil analysis, climate, and market trends.
• Conduct soil tests and plant diagnostics to recommend appropriate fertilization, irrigation, and pest control strategies.
• Supervise day-to-day farm activities including planting, irrigation, harvesting, equipment maintenance, and labor management.
• Lead and manage farm staff, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and labor standards. Provide training and performance feedback
• Prepare operational budgets, manage input procurement, and optimize the use of resources to minimize waste and control costs.
• Monitor farm data (yield, input usage, pest outbreaks, etc.), prepare reports, and recommend improvements based on analytics.
• Implement sustainable farming techniques and ensure adherence to environmental, health, and agricultural regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
• 4  – 5 years of experience in a farm management or agronomy role.
• Strong knowledge of crop production cycles, soil fertility, pest and disease management, and irrigation systems.
• Proven experience managing teams and farm operations.
• Familiarity with modern agricultural technologies and data tools.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in varying weather conditions.

Desirable Skills:

• Certification in agricultural management or farm business planning.
• Knowledge of sustainable and organic farming practices.
• Experience with mechanized farming equipment.
