Job Title: Admission / Exams Officer

Job Description

  • We are seeking an organized and efficient Admission/Exams Officer to join our educational institution in Benin City, Nigeria.
  • The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the admissions process and coordinating examinations for our students.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire admissions process, including application review, document verification, and candidate communication
  • Carryout biometric exercise and register students for exams
  • Coordinate and administer various examinations, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to policies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in the institution’s database
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to schedule exams and manage logistics
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders regarding admissions and exams
  • Prepare reports and statistics related to admissions and examination results
  • Ensure compliance with educational policies and regulations in Nigeria
  • Assist in the development and implementation of admission and examination procedures
  • Participate in student recruitment events and activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in admissions or exam administration in an educational setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of admission processes and exam procedures
  • Familiarity with educational policies and regulations in Nigeria
  • Must know how to do biometrics and be computer literate
