Job Title: Accounts Payable & Fixed Assets Intern

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Role Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable & Fixed Assets Intern to support our finance team in managing vendor payments, tracking company assets, and ensuring accurate financial records.
• This role offers hands-on exposure to core accounting operations within a dynamic oil & gas environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record invoices, payments, and expense reports with accuracy
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Maintain and update the fixed assets register, including asset tagging and tracking
• Assist in asset verification exercises and periodic audits
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or final year student) in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting tools
• High level of integrity, organization, and willingness to learn
• Prior internship or NYSC experience in finance is an added advantage
