Job Title: Accounts Intern

Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Internship (with possibility of extension / full-time)
Reports To: Accounts /Finance Manager

Job Summary

• We are urgently seeking a motivated Accounts Intern with prior internship experience in Accounting and Finance to support our finance team.
• The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in recording financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Support bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and petty cash management.
• Help in the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
• Verify and file invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Assist in monthly and year-end financial closing activities.
• Support internal audits by preparing necessary documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and organization of accounting records.
• Perform any other finance and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior internship experience in accounting/finance (mandatory).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Zoho Books is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
