Job Title: Accounts Executive

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for a responsible and experienced Accounts Executive to assist in managing the company’s financial records, reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting activities.
• The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to provide accurate financial information to support management decisions.

Key Responsibilties

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
• Generate financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
• Develop and maintain effective accounting policies and internal controls.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, revenues, and other financial activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile daily sales and bank statements.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.

Requirements

• Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably as an Accountant, Senior Accountant, Head of Accounts, or Finance Manager.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Retailman, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• ICAN/ACCA certification or part-qualification is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in the retail or supermarket industry will be an added advantage.

Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 monthly.
