Job Title: Accountant

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Job Summary

• As the Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, managing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and process financial transactions in line with company policies.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and other financial reports on a timely basis.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring proper documentation and record keeping.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and internal control requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience within FMCG, manufacturing, or related sectors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and accounting software / ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Candidates residing within Apapa and its immediate environs are strongly preferred.

Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 monthly.
