Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.
• The successful candidate will manage the Company’s accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance, and maintain effective financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, and cash flow reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Process invoices, receipts, supplier payments, and other financial transactions.
• Maintain inventory accounting records and reconcile stock values for solar products and equipment.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability.
• Ensure proper financial documentation, internal controls, and audit compliance.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and relevant regulatory authorities.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decisions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (mandatory).
• Minimum of 3 years of in-house accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Practical experience in inventory accounting, budgeting, and cost control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to independently manage accounting responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and high professional integrity.
• Previous experience in the solar, renewable energy, engineering, equipment distribution, or project-based industry is an added advantage.

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 Monthly.
