Job Title: Accountant

Location: Karu, Jikwoyi – Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a hignly organised, detail oriented, and results driven Accountant to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, monitiring hotel revenue and expenses, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring effective financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate daily financial transaction.
• Monitor and reconcile daily hotel revenue from rooms, resturant, bar, events, and other services.
• Prepare daily, weekely, and monthly financial reports.
• Reconcile cash, POS, bank and other payment transactions.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Monitor hotel expenses and ensure proper documentation and approval.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and company requirements.
• Identify financial discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• 2-3 years’ experience in accounting
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of hotel revenue, cash management, and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting Software.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and orgaisational skills.
• High level of accurancy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• ICAN/ACCA qualification or part qualification is an added advantage.
