Job Title: Accountant

Description

• The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, supporting business operations with financial insights, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements in Nigeria.
• The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced and growth-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with company policies
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budget performance
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations(PAYE, VAT, etc.)
• Support audit processes(internal and external audits)
• Process and manage staff payroll and related deductions
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for all financial transactions
• Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies when required
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions
• Assist in improving financial processes and internal controls.
