Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.
• As an Accountant, you will be responsible formaintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, assistingwith financial reporting, and assisting with tax accounting and auditing.
• The ideal candidate should possess strongorganizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., Tally, Dynamics 365, SAP, etc.)and manual bookkeeping systems.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Prepare and maintain financial documents, including invoices, bills, receipts, journals, and bank statements.
• Record and classify financial transactions, ensuring proper coding and allocation to relevant accounts.
• Perform regular audits of financial records to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing financial reports and statements.
• Assist with tax accounting and auditing, liaising with external auditors and consultants and ensuring compliance withtax laws.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Liaise with vendors, clients, auditors, consultants, government agencies, and other stakeholders regarding financialmatters, responding to queries or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting principles and best practices, and recommend process improvements whennecessary.

Competencies

• A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory
• Proven work experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or in a similar role.
•  Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, including knowledge of International Financial ReportingStandards (IFRS).
• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, such as Tally, Dynamics 365, SAP, Excel, or other relevant software.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
• Integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information.
