Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate must have strong financial reporting skills, excellent analytical abilities, and solid knowledge of accounting standards. Female applicants only, as company accommodation is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily financial transactions.
• Maintain proper documentation of all financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal control processes.
• Assist auditors during internal and external audits.
• Process payroll and manage statutory deductions.
• Provide timely financial insights and recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• ICAN certification or ICAN in-view is required.
• 2 – 3 years relevant experience, preferably in an FMCG environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be female, as accommodation is provided.

Salary
N200,000 / Month.
