We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash flow records.
• Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Provide regular reports on financial performance and variances.
• Track expenses to ensure adherence to budget allocations.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and financial policies.
• Prepare tax returnsand liaise with regulatory bodies when necessary.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Implement and maintain accounting systems and software.
• Suggest improvements to financial processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Safeguard the confidentiality and security of financial information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 – 4 years of proven accounting experience.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel, etc.).
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
