Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

• The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial records, tracking income and expenses, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal financial policies.
• The role will support the company’s real estate transactions, payroll processing, and financial planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting books.
• Record all income, expenses, and real estate transaction payments.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Manage payroll processing and statutory deductions.
• Track budgets, cash flow, and expenditure against approved plans.
• Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts regularly.
• Ensure timely filing of statutory obligations (taxes, levies, etc.).
• Support audits and provide required financial documentation.
• Maintain proper documentation for invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
• Laise with vendor/procurement officers for supply of materials.
• Advise management on basic financial planning and cost control.

Selection Criteria

• 2–4 years accounting experience, preferably in real estate or related sectors.
• OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Understanding of Nigerian tax regulations is an advantage.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.

Salary
N100,000 per month.
