Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team at Mondo.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, supporting financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal financial controls and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
• Handle daily bookkeeping activities including postings, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budget preparation and monitoring of expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and financial data.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Salary
N300,000 Net monthly.
